Mark is a tech-savvy Graphic Designer specialising in Interactive Design tackling the creative world through a considered thoughtful, approach, through which a combination of a conceptual thought process and the struggle between what is often an open conceptual framework and the need, or want, for a tangible purpose is a dilemma that he looks for and enjoys trying to solve.
After achieving a First Class honours in Graphic Design: New Media at what is now the University for Creative Arts, he has worked as a freelance designer under his own creation Shakenvac.com since 2006 with wonderfully fancy clientele to boot - Tracy Evans, Fashion and Textiles Museum and photographer Eddie Bovingdon to name but a few.
Alongside his freelance Mark can also be found lecturing at the University of Brighton (Sussex Downs), London College of Fashion and the University of the Creative Arts helping to develop and support the young digital minds of today. Basically, he’s one of those laid-back creative types who never seem in the slightest bit stressed, ever. He hopes to become a specialist in the crossover of the virtual and physical space and in the meantime, continues to spread a little Shake’n’vac love by transforming many a technophobe into the ultimate guru – metaphorically speaking.
To make life even more interesting, Mark’s latest venture is Future25 – a hub for designers, creatives and all-round contemporary culture enthusiasts to collaborate and spark ideas though the arts – which he hopes to launch in Spring 2010.
Don’t hesitate to contact Mark via email (mark at shakenvac . com), or perhaps pick up the phone on 07729 916 233.
